Luciana Lozada Jiménez (8th Grade) was crowned champion in the junior category of the National Hip-Hop Championship "Supernational Dance Hip-Hop Colombia" which took place in the city of Pereira on the 14th, 15th and 16th of August. More than 50 groups from all over the country participated in this competition.

Luciana is 13 years old and has been practising 8 hours a week for 4 years since she joined the Fire Dance Complex Academy, the academy with which she was crowned champion.

Luciana's mother, Veronica Jimenez, was very proud of her daughter's dedication.

"It is impressive to see Luciana's dedication to this discipline. She looks forward to the days when she has practice. When she has a competition, the hours of training are increased threefold and despite the fatigue she is always strong. As a mother I feel very proud and happy for Luciana," Verónica told us.

In the meantime, Luciana continues to prepare for the upcoming contests and expressed how exciting it is for her to compete.

"It felt great to be able to compete again, because we hadn't been able to do so for more than a year. It is great to be able to feel the energy and all the people watching. You can feel the pressure of all the training and everything that comes with the territory of going to the competitions. A good experience." said Luiciana.

We want to congratulate Luciana on her performance. We are very proud to have a talent like hers at CCB.
